I’m a Forward Deployed Engineer. I work with enterprises — usually directly with CEOs and CXOs — to turn an AI vision into systems that ship and create real value. My focus is outcomes, not deliverables: the work is judged by the value it moves for the business, not by the artifacts it produces.

Before this I advised chief executives at BCG, and I was Chief AI Officer at HD Media, where I built the company’s entire AI stack and drove real bottom-line impact. So I’ve worked the problem from both sides of the table — the boardroom where the vision is set, and the codebase where it either ships or it doesn’t.

I’m based in Delhi NCR. I build tools in the open and publish the playbooks as I go — partly to think clearly, partly so the next person building toward this work starts a few steps ahead.

I built this platform because there’s a gap almost no one is naming: becoming a forward deployed engineer isn’t an incremental skill upgrade — it’s a fundamental transformation in how a technologist works. The traditional IT model — take a spec, hand back a deliverable, own none of the outcome — trains exactly the wrong instincts for this work. For anyone trying to build an FDE career, that model isn’t just unhelpful; it’s detrimental.

And as AI gets more capable, I don’t believe there’s a durable technology career for most people that isn’t some form of forward deployed engineering: sitting with the problem, owning the outcome, shipping the thing. That’s the path I think most people in technology now need to build toward — and almost no one is telling them so.

This site is my attempt to fix that. The builds show what the work actually looks like. The playbooks lay out how the role works and how to grow into it. Both are here for the person deciding whether to make the change.
